Mothers Days Ideas

I am the worlds worst gift giver. Don't get me wrong I start off strong with ideas. Then before you know it the day comes and I still have yet to get a gift. I run out grab whatever quick idea comes to mind. Then once the gift has been given I vow to buy a great gift the next time.
So its now the next time. Mothers Day is right around the corner. I received an email from Pottery Barn this morning. They are advertising strong to all of us that has a mothers day presents to buy. As I am checking the advertising I run across this great locket so it gets me thinking. I might just go old school. I love the Sterling Silver engravable oval locket necklace they have. My mom really loves this kind of stuff. I posted a couple of pic

Now dont hold me to it. I'm also thinking of going new age and get her Digital Picture frame. I have tons of old and new photos from the whole family. This is also something she would really appriate especially if she doest have to try to figure out to get the picture from the computer to the frame.

I really want this in my Backyard. Its the Alfresco Grey Dinning from Crate and Barrel I love how simple the design is yet its job is complicate. It must be stylish, seat a large group of people, withstand the weather and handle the all the goodies of a summertime BarBq. Not sure this is within my budget but I will dream or maybe investigate for a knock off option :)

Today was not a very productive day. Unless you consider Taxes to be productive. Tomorrow I will be heading to Lowes to pick up paint YAAA for my bathroom remodel thats seems to be taking longer then needed.

Decorating my new House

We recently bought a New house which has me so excited. I cant wait to decorate this house and make it into the Dream house I've alway wanted. We have big dreams and a small pocket book.  Home decorating and remodeling pojects are the easiest to go over a budget especially when a budget has not been determined. So, with that in mind I've decided to take the process a little slower then I have in the past.
In this blog I will journal my adventures in decorating and organizing. Hopefully this will help me too make a budget stay within that budget and along the way create my version of a dream house.
